Description
Balsa de Piedra est un vin d'origine argentine élaboré dans le plus pur style bourguignon. Les raisins de Sémillon utilisés proviennent d'une parcelle située à Tupungato, dans la sous-région de Gualtallary, au sein de la vallée de l'Uco. Ce vin blanc séduit par son intensité aromatique et sa fraîcheur au palais.

The village white 2021 Balsa de Piedra Semillon comes from a great vintage for both whites and reds and was produced with grapes from an old vineyard in the village of El Peral in Tupungato. 2021 was a wet year, and Semillon is sensitive to botrytis, so they had to work more with these grapes. It was bottled unoaked after maturing in raw concrete with gross lees. It has 13% alcohol, a low pH and good acidity even after malolactic. It's very clean and balanced, with purity, texture and focused flavors. It's tasty and finishes very tasty. Amazing value. 15,000 bottles were filled in June 2022.
Aromas especiados y a la vez herbales en este semillón que, a medida que se oxigena en la copa, lentamente va revelando sus aromas frutales en un cuerpo marcado por una acidez jugosa y fresca, textura suave. El tipo de blancos que necesitan para sopa de mariscos. Este viene de viñedos en El Peral, hacia el norte del Valle de Uco. Un 30% del vino fue criado en barricas y el resto en concreto.

Plenty of weight & nice mouthfeel. Seems to have had some lees contact judging by darker colour. Good gastronomic white/orange wine
