L'avis des experts
The 2024 Martinet Bru was cropped from the vintage of accumulated drought when she was afraid of tannins, and she only kept the wine with the skins for four days. The climate has changed, and Sara Pérez told me she cannot imagine going back to the long and extractive fermentations of yesteryear with today's climate. Warm years ask for a softer hand, and this comes through as balanced and even, with an ethereal side and even some floral notes, which is quite surprising for Priorat. It has very fine tannins and a salty, mineral side, getting away from the roundness of 2022 and 2023. Half of the wine was aged in used barriques and the other half in concrete. 42,000 bottles produced.
