Description

Expressif, élégant, intense et éternel, c'est l'un des Cabernet sauvignon les plus emblématiques de Californie. Son nom vient d'un mot latin qui veut dire « beaucoup », pour bien montrer tous les facteurs qui entrent dans l'élaboration du vin : le climat, le sol, les gens... Chaque bouteille permet d'apprécier toute son intensité et sa concentration, qui devraient aussi bien évoluer en bouteille

torréfiés, de résine et de baies noires prédominent.
Bouche
Exotique, énergique, avec des tanins souples et flexibles. C'est comme si le temps s'était accéléré et ralenti à la fois, nous permettant d'apprécier, en un même instant, la jeunesse du vin et la maturité des cépages.

On recommande de le servir à 16 °C.

The Wine Advocate:

From a vineyard located on Spring Mountain, the 2018 Pluribus (a barrel sample) reveals a deep garnet-purple. Youthfully reticent, it needs a fair bit of coaxing to reveal gorgeous notions of wild blueberries, ripe black plums and warm cassis plus hints of tilled earth, truffles, menthol and tobacco leaf. The full-bodied palate is densely packed with tightly wound black and blue fruit layers, supported by firm, grainy tannins and great tension, finishing very long with loads of earthy/savory sparks.

James Suckling:

Tight and focused, dusty tannins to this full-to medium-bodied red with a focal point in the palate that shows blackcurrants, conifer and dark earth. Chewy and tight. Long finish, but rather reserved now. Drink from 2025.

Jeb Dunnuck:

Black fruits, blueberries, smoked tobacco, iron, bay leaf, and Asian spice notes emerge from the 2018 Pluribus, which comes from more volcanic soils halfway up Spring Mountain. It offers full-bodied richness, a structured, deep, concentrated mouthfeel, terrific mid-palate, and one heck of a great finish. While the other releases here have some up-front appeal, this needs to be hidden for 4-5 years and will cruise for 20-30 years as well.
