Mix Blanco 2021
Description
Ce vin blanc est un assemblage de terroirs spécialement sélectionnés par l'œnologue Gutier Seijo. Pour son élaboration, il procède à une sélection rigoureuse de vignobles dans les régions de Ribeiro, O Condado de Tea et Melgaço, au Portugal, et choisit parmi ceux-ci les cépages les plus représentatifs de chacun. Le résultat est un coupage de Treixadura et d'albariño qui, après avoir fermenté en cuve, y reste 12 mois pour s'affiner. Une œuvre d'art qui combine les raisins galiciens et atlantiques dans un verre frais et grandiose.

The 2021 Mix Blanco was a co-fermentation of 50/50 Treixadura from Ribeiro and Albariño from Portugal in tinaja, where the wine matured for one year. It's primary, fruit-driven and floral, elegant and perfumed, approachable, faintly tropical, tasty, with good ripeness and development of aromas and flavors, with 13% alcohol and a bitter twist in the finish that he tells me is from the Treixadura lees. 4,470 bottles were filled in August 2022.
Subtly briny with some green apples. The palate is refreshing and tense, with salinity and stone fruit character. It’s a blend of albarino from Melgaco and treixadura from Val de Avia. Aged exclusively in amphorae for a year. This ferments and ages for 12 months in a Stockinger foudre and then goes into cement for another 12 months. Drink now.
Un blanco muy gallego pero a la vez radicalmente diferente a todo lo que hayas probado, es único. Me llenó el corazón al primer sorbo.
Cuando el vino lo entendemos como forma de arte, nos percatamos de que es un mosaico en el que la viña, la cultura, la gente y el terruño desempeñan un papel fundamental.
