Description

Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de Ábalos est issu des profondeurs de la sierra, dans un vignoble dont les cépages ont jusqu'à 90 ans, situé dans la commune d'Ábalos, à environ 500 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer. Ce vin rouge se caractérise par des notes élégantes de fruits noirs et rouges et par ses tanins mûrs et parfaitement intégrés. Il est idéal pour accompagner les plats de la gastronomie traditionnelle de La Rioja.

The only wine in the Lindes line-up that features fruit from a single grower, albeit from five different parcels in Ábalos, this is another racy, almost ethereal offering from Telmo Rodríguez, with the zip and focus of the high part of the Sonsierra, lots of minerality, a touch of oak and pomegranate and wild strawberry flavours. 2024-30

Such depth, with more graphite here to the intense blackberries, incense and blueberries. Vibrant acidity makes this a very lively Rioja. Really long and effortless. Drink or hold.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2021 Viñedos de Ábalos from the last village in the zone was produced with grapes from the Marqués de Legarda, but his name does not appear anywhere. It has a hint of blood and iron, with some seriousness. It's the end of the Sonsierra, a village quite protected that results in wines with a certain austerity. It's medium to full-bodied, with very fine tannins. It has a contained 13.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.62 and 5.44 grams of acidity and comes through as fresh and in superb balance. 15,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2023.
