As Bravas Garnacha 2021
Description

The new range As Bravas includes a 2021 As Bravas Garnacha, produced with vines from 50-year-old vines in Lunlunta, from the Angélica Vineyard. It's a bright ruby-colored red with a delicate and floral nose with intense notes of violets and also white flowers, fresh and clean in the style of some wines from Gredos in Spain. It fermented with 100% full clusters with a nine-day fermentation, then pressed and put into a 2,000-liter oak vat and a 500-liter barrel. It has ripeness and 15% alcohol, but it does not feel alcoholic or hot; it has freshness, which is remarkable for a warm place and a warm year. It's still a bit young and has some creaminess from the élevage, but that should fade with time in bottle. There are 3,000 bottles of this.
The nose shows strawberries, dried Mediterranean herbs and hibiscus-infused water. The palate has bright acidity combined with precise tannins that lead to a focused and austere finish. A long maceration with whole clusters. Very drinkable and pleasant. Drink now.
