Els Escorpins est la concrétisation du rêve de Leo et Roc Gramona : capturer l'essence la plus pure et la plus vivante du Penedès. Ce vin rouge Mono-cépage à base de Grenache est issu d'une ancienne ferme familiale, fruit d'une agriculture biologique et biodynamique qui respecte scrupuleusement les cycles lunaires.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2023 Els Escorpins is their elegant Garnacha from their grandparents' house that improves with the vintage. It was picked a little earlier and extracted a little less to have freshness without anything green. It fermented with 30% full clusters and 55% of the wine matured in used 500-liter oak barrels and 45% in concrete eggs for nine months. It's still very young and a little raw, floral and with notes of red berries and herbs and with a very fine-boned palate. It has 13% alcohol, a pH of 3.24 and 5.43 grams of acidity. It's very elegant, juicy and moreish. It should improve and gain in complexity with time in bottle. 1,959 bottles were filled in July 2024.
