A bright and exuberant Bobal from vineyards planted on terraces between 900 and 1,200m. This altitude, along with whole bunch fermentation, brings great freshness to the wine. Sour cherry, cola and orange peel on the nose while there is just enough Bobal grip on the f inish. A touch of reduction keeps the wine classy. 2024 - 2026
The red 2020 Berandía was produced with Bobal from vines at 900 to 1,200 meters above sea level on terraces. It fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in well-seasoned oak barrels and stainless steel for 18 months. It has a more classical and developed aromatic palette with notes of Mediterranean herbs, truffles and an earthy touch. The palate is medium-bodied, polished and elegant, with good ripeness, 13.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.75 and good balance. It's clean and varietal, with complexity, depth and balance. 2,996 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2022.
