Description

À la fin du XIIe siècle, le vignoble d'où provient le Riesling utilisé pour élaborer ce vin blanc a été mentionné pour la première fois sous le nom de « mons Rhingravii » (la montagne des comtés du Rhin). Il s'agit dudu meilleur vin blanc sec que le domaine puisse offrir, appartenant à la catégorie « Große Gewächse », l'équivalent allemand du Grand Cru. C'est un vin très minéral qui incarne les qualités du terroir

Nez corsé, avec une forte minéralité et des arômes fruités prononcés.
Bouche
Un vin à la structure corsée, très minéral. Il incarne les qualités exceptionnelles du terroir. Très élégant et équilibré. Légèrement sucré, mais charnu et avec une certaine note saline.

Entre 7 et 10 °C.

This pumps up the volume and cranks up the AC at the same time. The expansive aromas of yellow and white fruit, mandarin oranges and delicate notes of baking spices pull you into this complex and concentrated dry riesling. Terrific interplay of stony acidity with fine tannins and leesy creaminess on the medium- to full-bodied palate. Then comes the explosion of citrusy freshness in the super-long, zesty finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink from release.

The 2023 Kiedrich Gräfenberg Riesling Trocken GG is deep, intense and complex on the nose, indicating a certain richness. Full-bodied and textured on the palate, this is a dense, powerful and majestic yet also finessed Gräfenberg with fine tannins and lingering salinity. It is far too young to be enjoyed today, though. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in Kiedrich, August 2025.
