Description

Forlong Terracota est un vin rouge élaboré exclusivement à partir de Tintilla de Rota provenant des vignobles situés dans le domaine de Balbaína baja. Ce vin rouge expressif est élevé dans des amphores en argile afin de préserver au maximum la fraîcheur et les arômes primaires intéressants du cépage. Un vin rouge à l'âme blanche, réservé aux palais explorateurs.

Couleur cerise avec de légères nuances violacées.
Nez
Notes florales de violette et de fleurs blanches, arômes de fruits rouges acidulés comme la groseille. On retrouve des notes caractéristiques du cépage telles que le laurier, le poivre noir et même une touche de cayenne.

Frais, minéral et très salé.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2024 Terracota was produced with Tintilla de Rota grapes fermented and matured in terracotta pots for 11 months. It was produced with grapes grown on albariza soils 10 kilometers from the sea in the Pago Balbaína. It has a bright ruby color, paler and with a perfumed and more expressive nose, with some herbal hints (coriander leaves?), fresh and elegant. It comes in at 13.5% alcohol with five grams of acidity and has a medium-bodied palate, really fine-boned and with almost unnoticeable tannins. We also retasted the 2022 from a very warm and dry year to check the evolution, and the character of the year was a lot more evident in the red than in the whites. There is a sense of ripeness here that is not in the 2024 at all, and the texture and quality of the tannins are completely different. 6,490 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2025.
