Telescópico 2022
Description

The 2022 Telescópico Garnacha · Garnacha Peluda · Mazuela is a blend from different vineyards in the villages of Alpartir, Inogés and Morata, with some new vineyards in 2022, all higher altitude (800-plus meters in elevation) and old; so, it's an improvement in the origin of the cuvée. It's bright, precise and fresh, produced with full clusters in concrete and matured mostly in oak foudre and 500-liter barrels for one year, which gives it some spiciness that I didn't see in other reds from the vintage. It's neatly balanced, with amplitude and complexity, with flowers, berries and herbs, even with citrus, and it has a medium-bodied palate. This overdelivers for the price. 13.219 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2024. - Luis Gutiérrez.
This shows pomegranates, rose petals and blood oranges on the nose. The palate is juicy and balanced, with awesome freshness and subtle fruit. Harmonious, elegant and incisive. Fermented with 80% whole clusters. From vineyards in Alpartir and Morata. A blend of garnacha, garnacha peluda, carinena and others. Aged for 12 to 14 months in large oval foudres. - Jacobo Garcia-Andrade Llamas, Senior Editor.
