L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

There is only one white from 2018, which is not exactly the same as the anonymous white from the past, as this 2018 Viña Mein is a blend of the different lots from 2018, and that's also reflected in the price. It's a blend of all the grapes, Treixadura, Loureira, Albariño, Godello, Torrontés, Lado and Caíño Blanco from different plots, mostly on sandy granite soils. This has more complexity and nuance than the regular Viña Mein used to have; it has more depth and detail and a combination of floral, pollen and honeyed aromas with the herbal notes of moss so often found in wines from the region. This is very drinkable now; it's harmonious, clean and balanced, a good interpretation of the Avia Valley. 62,000 bottles and 1,700 magnums were filled in August 2019.

James Suckling:

A tight, compressed white with lemon, green apple and some flint and stone. It’s medium-bodied with bright fruit and a creamy finish. Drink now.
