L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

A rich and balanced red with aromas of black currants, chocolate, bark, cedar and some nutmeg. It's medium- to full-bodied, creamy and delicious already. From organically grown grapes. Refined. Drink or hold.

James Suckling:

This shows focus and balance with a pretty dark-fruit character, as well as hints of blue flowers and stones. Medium-bodied, juicy and vivid with very polished tannins and fresh acidity. Nice center-palate with cabernet character coming through. Firm at the end.

Decanter:

It was the second hottest year on record in France, but more temperate in Bordeaux and this wine shows it. It’s ripe, deep, heady, and for the first time ever, the blend incorporated 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% press wine. The tannins are soft and silky, but provide a good frame for the savoury dark plum, earth and blackberry flavours. Only 35% new oak.
