Description

The Wine Advocate:

Tasting the 2015 Telescópico Garnacha next to a majority of 2016s and 2017s, you could see the changes in the wines with each new vintage. It blends grapes from three different places, fermented with 10% full clusters and matured in used 300-liter French oak barrels for 12 months. It feels more Mediterranean, riper, more in the style of a Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with darker fruit and somehow more rusticity. There were 12,000 bottles produced and later bottled in June 2017. - Luis Gutiérrez

Suckling:

If you thought that garnacha/grenache was always short on tannin, then you need to taste this widescreen red that has a substantial tannin structure and the ripeness to carry it. Long, velvety finish. Drink or hold.
