The Wine Advocate:
The hazy white 2023 Salicornio Moscatel has a pure nose of Moscatel pulp, very varietal and expressive, floral and aromatic, with a streamlined palate, narrow and sharp, with 12% alcohol and a bitter and salty twist in the finish and a chalky feeling. 2023 was very different in La Mata, a rainy year and a dry end of the season, delivering one of the best crops in the zone, in quantity and quality. It was bottled in July 2024 after 10 months in concrete. 5,000 bottles.
