Quite 2015

I've been unlucky with this wine before, but the 2015 Quite was finally hitting it on all cylinders, with an earthy nose intermixed with heady and perfumed notes of violets and decayed leaves with a spicy twist, quite attractive and changing quickly in the glass. There is very good complexity here and the palate is elegant, with refined tannins and surprisingly good freshness given the character of the year and the fact that Mencía is never very high in acidity. Tasty, approachable and full of character. 25,000 bottles produced.
