Description

The Wine Advocate:

They wanted to do a terroir rosé that speaks about the place, and the 2023 Señora de las Alturas Rosado is that wine. They used a blend of Garnacha Gris from two lots: one with skins and some more maceration and one a saignée in a 500-liter barrel, then the wine matured in two used 500-liter barrels for one year. It has a pale and bright pink color and is a different style of rosé in Navarra. It has a serious and austere nose, closer to a white than a light red. It comes in at 13% alcohol, with a low pH of 3.04 and a vibrant palate with very good balance. It has a chalky texture and is serious and elegant, clean and balanced. This is a great debut with finesse and no lollipop or aromatic yeast aromas. 1,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2025.
