Description

Un vin rouge issu de la viticulture durable, élaboré à partir de Grenache provenant du Corral de los Altos, une propriété située à Fitero, dans un paysage de collines et de galets roulés entre la Sierra de Cameros et le bassin versant de l'Èbre. C'est un vin net au nez, avec une belle intensité d'arômes de fruits rouges et d'épices, complexe et minéral. En bouche, il est frais, avec des tanins suaves, persistant et avec un grand caractère.

All the guest winemakers that take part in the Lecciones de Vuelo wine with Viña Zorzal are offered to produce their interpretation of the paraje Corral de los Altos in Fitero, from which they also produce other wines (Sea of Dreams, GarnaCHE and Punto de Fuga Corral del Mate). The 2019 Corral de los Altos is Zorzal's own interpretation of a 45-year-old plot of 2.1 hectares of Garnacha planted on a north-facing stony part of the village. The grapes fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in used 500-liter oak barrels. It showcases the style of the year, with good ripeness (13.98% alcohol) and very good freshness (pH 3.38). It's juicy, varietal and pure, combining ripeness and freshness, power and elegance, meaty and juicy, with very fine tannins and a tasty, long and vibrant finish. 4,600 bottles were filled in January 2021.
