L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

A captivating nose of salty nori, kumquats and an herbal note. The palate is ample, with a refreshing saline thread complemented by a creamy texture that adds concentration and depth. Made from a selection of old vines. 100% palomino fino. Drink now.

The Wine Advocate :

The very young white 2023 Ás de Mirabrás is their entry point to the style, through a selection of old vines on albariza soils in Cerro Pelado, Macharnudo Bajo and Burujena. It was produced in a traditional way, fermenting in stainless steel with local yeasts selected by the winery and matured in bottle. This was first produced in 2019, selecting old vines from different Pagos, harvest them when ripe and after a few months blended, looking for purity, no interference or makeup, varietal in search of simplicity and minerality. It has 13% alcohol and a pH of 3.3. Despite feeling quite neutral when young and austere, the wine has an unexpected evolution in bottle and develops notes of diesel. Straightforward and fresh. 14,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2024.
