Laslías de Beronia 2022

A very direct and tightly wound wine with the potential to age. This Verdejo comes from old bush vines planted in 1943 in sandy soils in the province of Ávila, hand-harvested and fermented in a combination of concrete tanks and 500L French oak. Following nine months of ageing on lees, the wine offers a serious palate weight balanced by even more serious, racy acidity. Lemon curd, aniseed and white pepper make for a lively and lifted finish. 2024-30
