The Wine Advocate:

The blanc de noirs 2022 Ca'n Xicatlà Blanc de Mantonegro is from 55-year-old vines of the biotype known as Cabellis, a high-yielding type that achieved high ripeness and generous alcohol. It fermented in new and used 500-liter French oak barrels, where it went through malolactic and matured for eight months. It has a deep golden color and a very different nose, with notes of pollen and beeswax. And it has a round and powerful palate with 14.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.6 and 5.1 grams of acidity and a textured mouthfeel with some fine tannins. It's round and approachable, riper than in previous years, but it should also age nicely in bottle. 2,400 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2023.
