The Wine Advocate:

A wine that is not produced every vintage, the 2019 Grimalt/Caballero follows the "less is more" approach they took from 2018 for this wine, meaning less and less intervention and that simple things have a long and complex process resulting from the study of soils, microclimate and grape varieties. This is Callet and Fogoneu from two small plots of 60-year-old vines on call vermell red clay and limestone soils in the village of Felanitx. It fermented in stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in 600-liter oak barrels for 14 months. It's light and delicate at 12% alcohol with creamy spiciness. It's a little riper than the 2020s I tasted next to it, with a rounder, seamless palate, nicely textured with flavors of wild berries, herbs and flowers and sparkling freshness. 800 bottles were filled in November 2021.
