Le vignoble du Château Duhart-Milon s'étend en un bloc presque ininterrompu sur le flanc ouest du Château Lafite Rothschild. Puissant, doté d'un large éventail aromatique, d'une acidité optimale et d'une grande structure, ce vin laisse présager une évolution en bouteille à la fois t incroyable. Ce millésime a conquis les critiques les plus prestigieux.

Nez
Expressif, puissant et ample. Il offre des arômes de cerises, de groseilles et de prunes noires, qui laissent place à des notes minérales, de myrtilles, de tabac et d'épices.
Bouche
Savoureux, juteux, puissant et profond. Il présente une belle structure, mais des tanins soyeux. Son acidité optimale apporte de l'équilibre à l'ensemble.

Il est recommandé de le servir à 16 °C.

Description
Les vignobles sont situés sur les coteaux de Milon, juste à la lisière du plateau de Carruades de Lafite.

30 ans en moyenne.
Sol
Du gravier fin mélangé à du sable éolien reposant sur un sous-sol calcaire d'origine tertiaire.
Vendanges
Elle s'est déroulée du 4 au 22 septembre.
Vinification
Fermentation dans des cuves inox.
Elevage
Rouge crianza : élevage en fûts de chêne français (40 % neufs) et à 15 % en jarres d'argile.

Falstaff:

Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening. Fine dark forest berry fruit, nuances of blackberries and cherries, delicate precious wood spice, underlaid with mandarin zest, a hint of nougat in the background. Juicy, elegant, hearty cherries, ripe, integrated tannins, mineral and lemony, some currant in the aftertaste, shows length and maturity potential.

James Suckling:

A juicy and savory red with blackberry, chocolate, dried meat and earth aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with plenty of flavor and a forest floor aftertaste. Ripe tannins. A blend of 73% cabernet sauvignon and 27% merlot.

A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon and 27% Merlot, the 2025 Duhart-Milon is a lovely classic in the making, offering up notes of wild blueberries, cassis, rose petals and orange zest, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, pure and polished palate that's lively, harmonious and suave. It checks in at a modest 12.5% alcohol.

Decanter:

Fragrant blackcurrants and dried herbs on the nose. Really succulent and grippy straight away, immediately so charming and soft, almost creamy with a touch of powdery tannins – but such depth and concentration of fruit – ripe but still cool, you get flesh but freshness too. Such great construction – nothing over the top. There’s fleshy tannins, round mouthfeel but such elegance and refinement with the vein of bright, tangy, driving acidity that just carries the overall expression. So long. Brilliant. 13% press wine.
