Description

Vacqueyras est une AOC située dans le Rhône méridional, d’où sont issus le Grenache, le Syrah, et le Monastrell, avec lesquels Xavier Vignon élabore ce vin. Chaque cépage est pressé à part afin de donner un vin avec une bonne combinaison de puissance et d’équilibre. On y trouve des notes de fruits des bois, d’épices, et de réglisse. Il est conseillé pour accompagner des viandes telles que l’agneau, le veau, et le porc, ou encore, des sauces orientales. Bonne capacité de garde.

A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, the 2019 Vacqueyras delivers garrigue-accented notes of blackberries, blueberries and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, it shows more freshness than some of the other 2019s from Vignon, while the tannins are ripe and supple, turning silky on the finish.
