Description

Un vino tinto de parcela elaborado exclusivamente con Garnacha. Tiene una crianza de 14 meses en barrica de roble francés. Los viñedos se sitúan en El Real de San Vicente, a 900 metros de altitud sobre el nivel del mar, en suelos graníticos en la Sierra de Gredos.

The single-vineyard Garnacha 2022 Cantos del Diablo is from a plot in a lieu-dit that names the wine, the highest vineyard in the appellation Méntrida, in the village of El Real de San Vicente, a cooler place with better conditions to produced balanced wines and soils with a high content of silt. It has a sensation of high ripeness, notes of prunes and dark cherries with a dusty, wet chalk hint. It has 14.5% alcohol and integrated acidity, concentrated. It has abundant tannins, slightly dusty with a slight rusticity, which seems to be the signature of the year. 2,335 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2024, later than the other wines from the project, as this has a longer élevage of two winters.
