James Suckling:

Excellent depth and freshness, with intricate aromas of fresh black cherries, cigar box, fine spices, violets and cocoa powder. Bright and textured on the palate, with a medium to full body for a Ribera del Duero. The tannins are tight but crunchier than most, with a long, creamy finish. Drink or hold.

Tim Atkin:

MXI is a large, commendably well-made blend that runs to some 7,500 second use French barrels. Fresh, textured, modern and appealingly aromatic, it has plush red berry and black cherry fruit, subtle vanilla and cinnamon spices and a violet top note. 2024-30
