The Wine Advocate:

"The vineyard-designated 2016 Verum María Victoria Malbec comes from a plot of clay-rich soils with lots of gravel that produce aromatic and concentrated grapes. The destemmed grapes went into a stainless steel vat, and some 25% of the stems were added to the fermentation vessel. Malolactic was in used barriques, and the élevage was in used 300-liter and new 600-liter oak vats and lasted 12 months, during which time the wine was racked three times. This is a great surprise, a wine produced in conjunction with the winemaker from a project called Verum in Spain, where Vinding Diers also consults. It's very elegant, with integrated oak, focused and clean and with a seamless, harmonious palate with berry flavors and a remarkable finish. 9,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2017."
