L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The 2013 Riesling Grand Cru Geisberg is pretty intense and rich on the nose, offering perfectly ripe, fresh, fine and somewhat caramel fruit aromas. Juicy, but also somewhat tannic and astringent on the palate, this is a beast, a Riesling fighting for ripeness, but ending up just ripe with a firm, phenolic structure. The aftertaste is a bit dry, but not short at all. This wine might surprise all of us in 10 years. This is so concentrated, firm and intense, but still struggling for ripeness. Fascinating on the second sight. - Stephan Reinhardt.
