Description

Ce vin est élaboré à partir de raisins provenant de Marrate-El Bardallo, un vignoble d'environ 50 ans situé sur la commune de Labastida. Pour élaborer ce vin Mono-cépage de Tempranillo, on sélectionne chaque année la parcelle qui s'est le mieux développée. Frais, avec une légère touche tannique et mielleuse.

Une robe cerise picota limpide, rehaussée de reflets grenat, avec une robe grasse/onctueuse de glycérine qui forme de belles larmes.

Arômes d'intensité moyenne à élevée.
Bouche
Attaque sèche, dense et ferme. Agréable en bouche, frais et moelleux. Bon équilibre.

The 2021 Selección Personal comes from a place called Marrate-El Bardallo in Labastida, one of Mendoza's favorite vineyards, a 65-year-old two-hectare plot for high-end wines located at 610 meters above sea level. The uncrushed grapes fermented with indigenous yeasts from a pied de cuve in stainless steel, followed by malolactic in concrete and aging in French oak barrels for 13 months. It feels very harmonious, balanced and serious, a lot more closed than the Grano a Grano produced with Tempranillo. There is a very classical and elegant feeling to it, but it is very clean and defined, with purity. It has 14.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.76 and 4.9 grams of acidity, with elegant, fine and ripe tannins, to me the signature from the year, with purity and balance. 5,900 bottles were filled in May 2023.

this is a structured, dense, still youthful red that's proudly aged in new French oak. With
both eyes on the future, it's a wine that needs time to show at its best, with coffee bean and
Asian spice aromas, layers of mountain herbs and inky black fruits and plenty of supporting

Solid blackberries, dark cherries and a touch of dark chocolate follow through to a medium- to full-bodied palate with tightly wound tannins and a long, structured finish. Aged 12 months in new French oak barrels. Drink from 2026.
