Description
Un blanc intrigant à base de Grenache blanc et Pedro Ximénez de La Morera del Montsant. Sa production se distingue par la combinaison d'extraction, d'oxydation et de macération qui donne à ce vin sa personnalité si marquée. Son élevage sur lies dans des cuves en ciment, respectueux du fruit original du raisin, en fait un blanc très gastronomique

The 2023 Terra de Cuques Blanc was produced with a blend of 70% Garnacha Blanca and 30% Pedro Ximenez with more extraction and maceration to produce a style closer to a red than a white. The whole clusters fermented in stainless steel and concrete for five days, and the wine was kept in concrete for eight months. It has a slightly deeper color and a characterful nose with notes of pollen and beeswax, aromatic herbs and some yellow fruit. It comes in at 13% alcohol with a pH of 3.45. It's clean, medium-bodied, tender and balanced, with a caressing mouthfeel and a faint bitter twist in the finish, beautifully textured, which Dominik Huber attributes to the PX. 10,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2024.
60% Garnacha Blanca, 40% PX, the florality of this wine is a lovely foil to the ripeness and waxiness of the Garnacha fruit. Stunning aromatics; a wine to sniff all day. 2024-2030
Medium gold hue. This is refreshing and lightly floral on the nose, with waxed lemons and a touch of jasmine. Dry and fresh, with a medium body and a light touch of white nuts in its creamy, pristine finish. Drink now.
