The Wine Advocate:

"The 2010 El Rincón is a completely different wine, from the province of Madrid, sourced from a separate estate (El Rincón) and produced as a blend of Syrah and Garnacha Tintorera from granite soils. It had a slow fermentation with a long maceration of up to four weeks. The wine matured in barrel for 10 months. They never use more than 10% of Garnacha Tintorera, as they think the blend would be too rustic. The nose is a symphony of olives, both black and green, with even some oily undertones, soy sauce (even Worcestershire sauce!) and earthy hints denoting high ripeness. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and metallic hints. A little unusual and very oily. 36,772 bottles produced".
