Colet Navazos Reserva Brut Nature 2019

The green label collaboration with Equipo Navazos from Jerez, the 2019 Colet Navazos Brut Nature Reserva had a longer aging in bottle with the lees than the orange label one, 40 months, and was topped up with bone-dry Manzanilla en Rama (unfiltered Mazanilla Sherry) at disgorgement time. This is very characterful, very yeasty and bone dry, with a saline and marine touch. It has a deeper golden color and some Mediterranean hints of esparto grass and aromatic herbs. The other particularity of this wine is that it's produced with 100% Chardonnay... These are intellectually rewarding wines that improve with time in bottle. 1,500 bottles produced.
