L'avis des experts
The white 2023 Lour-inho is a blend of Lou(reiro) and 80% (Alvar)inho, hence its name, from the coastal vineyards. The full clusters were pressed and the juice let to settle in 2,000-liter Slovenian oak vats with indigenous yeasts, where it matured with the full lees for 10 months, followed by a further six months in stainless steel with the fine lees. It has contained ripeness and moderate alcohol (10.5%), a low pH of 3.18 and 7.7 grams of acidity, which is quite high, and finished bone dry. The profile is sharp and austere, and here, she wants to show the minerality of the soils. It's a little cloudy and has austerity, but it's fresh, clean and citrusy, with a vibrant palate, good purity of flavors and a dry, chalky sensation. 4,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2024.
