Tim Atkin:

El Nogal is one of two Ysios Viñedos Singulares located in the village of Elvillar. This is a 1.3-hectare plot planted at 600 metres in 1960 and has the freshness and zip of its cooler terroir. Tangy, spicy and intense, with deftly integrated oak, cranberry and red cherry fruit and firmish tannins. 2024-30. 

James Suckling:

This is complex and structured with layers of dark and blue fruit, ground spices, crushed stones, seashells and pepper. Full-bodied but very refined and almost weightless, with polished tannins and vivid acidity. Very well made, balanced and long. Better from 2026.
