L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

Unfortunately, I found the 2017 NAHI Tempranillo quite oaky and also marked by the challenges of the vintage, which, combined together, gave it a harsh texture and a strict personality. This comes from five micro plots of very old vines in the village of Villabuena de Rioja, planted with mixed varieties that are also the source for a white wine. This is mostly Tempranillo with some Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo. Perhaps with more time in bottle? It fermented and matured in barrique. 676 bottles were filled in November 2018.

James Suckling:

A firm and silky red with blackberry and cherry character. Medium to full body. Firm tannins. Drink now.

Tim Atkim:

"I'm more and more at ease with the fruit from Rivas de Tereso," says Sandra Bravo of this
isolated, high-altitude area on the Sonsierra. It shows in the wines, too. Very lightly wooded,
this is a fresh, tangy, peppery style with savoury tannins, racy acidity and floral, rose petal
top notes. 2021-26
