Pujanza, creado por Carlos San Pedro, propietario y director técnico de la bodega, nace de una tradición familiar, de un viñedo propio, de la dedicación al vino y la ambición por obtener los vinos más representativos de Laguardia. El resultado, un tinto fresco y expresivo que ofrece notas de frutas rojas y negras y sensaciones florales.

Vue
Rojo picota, limpio y brillante.
Nez
Aromas de frutos rojos, frambuesas y grosellas, sobre un fondo de jugosas frutas negras y notas balsámicas. Ligeros tostados muy bien integrados completan la nariz de este vino.
Bouche
Muy expresivo. Presenta una acidez que lo mantiene fresco y atractivo, y un tanino amable. Su retrogusto nos regala intensas frutas negras y sensaciones florales. Final largo y persistente.
Température de service
Se recomienda servir a 16 ºC.
Garde
Hasta 2029 si se conserva en óptimas condiciones.

Carnes rojas, asados y cochinillo.

Vignoble et élaboration

Description
Viñedos procedentes de Laguardia que se dividen en 23 parcelas a una altitud de entre 450 y 600 metros.
Sol
Suelo arcilloso calcáreo.
Vinification
Fermentación en depósitos de acero inoxidable entre 24 y 26 °C con remontados diarios. La fermentación maloláctica se realiza en los mismos depósitos.
Elevage
Crianza de 12 meses en barrica de roble francés de 225 litros.

Formerly sold as Hado, this comes from 40 different parcels above 600 metres in Laguardia. Taut, chiselled, tangy and mineral, with understated 10% new wood, it has vibrant damson and blueberry fruit flavours, lots of zip and minerality and the freshness and focus of the exceptional 2021 vintage. 2024-29

The Wine Advocate:

The eponymous red 2021 Pujanza was produced with Tempranillo from Laguardia and sourced from different vineyards—a total of 23 separate plots. It fermented by soil in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in French oak barrels for 12 months. I hadn't tasted this textbook modern Crianza for a while. It has a neat combination of red fruit, spice and herbs. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with abundant, slightly dusty tannins. It has 14.8% alcohol, a pH of 3.61 and 5.92 grams of acidity. 100,000 bottles produced.

James Suckling:

Spiced red plums and cherries with a touch of citrus. Medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and a firm, juicy finish. Some dried Mediterranean herbs and savory spices at the end. Drink now.
