Ce monocépage de Chenin blanc (un des premiers cépages arrivés en Afrique du Sud) est issu d'un unique vignoble âgé de près de 40 ans, situé à une trentaine de kilomètres de l'océan Atlantique et cultivé en bio. Déployant un profil très différent des Chenins blancs français, Steen 2015 offre un rapport qualité/prix tout simplement incroyable.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2015 Steen Chenin Blanc has an attractive bouquet with brioche and sesame notes infusing the light tropical tones. The palate is well balanced with an almost creamy-textured opening, hints of brioche and sweetcorn broth, lovely definition towards the finish that lingers in the mouth. This is a fine follow-up to the 2015.
