Description

Très peu alcoolisé, ce vin blanc doux issu de Riesling botrytisé naturellement ne se montre jamais écœurant. Idéal pour des accords mets-vins contrastés et pour accompagner les desserts.

L'avis des experts

Suckling:

A dangerous wine that mixes juicy peachy fruit with some dark and explosive elements to create an inspiring cocktail far removed from the global wine norms. Drink through 2040.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2015 Rheingau Riesling Spätlese Winkeler Hasensprung has a clear and precise but reductive bouquet with SO2 notes. Based on 40% botrytis grapes, this is a light but juicy-intense, finessed and promising Spätlese whose terroir character is completely hidden for the moment and probably for the next 10-20 years. However, this is a refreshing, linear and piquant picture-book Spätlese for this highly reductive style. Fermented in a 600-liter Halbstück, the 2015 was bottled with 9% alcohol and almost 59 grams of residual sugar in April 2016 under screwcap. Tasted in November 2017.
