Description

The Wine Advocate:

With fruit sourced from the Serralunga township, the 2013 Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba is a wine of depth and power. It shows a firm sense of structure and tannic tightness at the back followed by plush fruit flavors. This wine needs a few more years to soften before you pull the cork. It offers pretty aromas of wild berry and plum with spice and moist earth. This is the kind of Barolo you will want to pair with grilled red meat. Some 5,000 bottles were made. - Monica Larner.

Suckling:

Lots of ripe-strawberry and floral character. Full body, lots of fruit and a soft and velvety-textured finish. Drink or hold.
