L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The 2009 Iscay Malbec-Cabernet Franc blends 70% Malbec (from Altamira and Gualtallary) with 30% Cabernet Franc (from Las Palmas), is slightly reductive and needs air to reveal its aromas of violets, damsons, blueberries and a touch of raspberry leaf that gives it a classy palate with round, polished tannins, juicy fruit and very good acidity. This is very classy juice. Drink 2014-2019. Iscay means “two” in Quechua, the old language of the Incas whose empire reached Mendoza.
