Decanter:
The second vintage of a new project, a cool-climate 50/50 blend of ‘Old’ Rioja (the historic rarity Maturana Blanca) and the ‘New’ (the Tempranillo Blanco grape discovered in 1988). Aged in concrete, amphorae and 600-litre French oak, followed by six months in French barriques and 12 months in bottle. Creamy, with notes of wild herbs, full and rich, but balanced by a crisp finish.
