A very elegant dry Mosel riesling that’s barely medium-bodied, but has very attractive white peach and wild strawberry aromas. Lovely juiciness on the front and mid-palates. Lingering, very harmonious finish with remarkable berry and spice delicacy. Drink or hold.

The 2022 Riesling Ürziger Würzgarten Spätlese (White Capsule) opens with cassis and blueberry as well as lovely slate aromas on the nose. On the palate, this is an elegant yet pretty drying and phenolic Riesling with a tight tannin structure but also intensity and a certain residual sweetness that is still not really balanced. 11% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2024 from AP 69 23.
