Description

The Wine Advocate:

"The bright colored 2016 Riesling Ried Loiserberg displays a precise, fresh and concentrated Riesling bouquet with noble yeasty and crystalline notes as well as concentrated apricot and white peach aromas. Fermented in stainless steel (after up to 24 hours of maceration) and aged for six months on the lees, this is a lean, juicy, fresh, piquant and elegant Riesling with intense, concentrated fruit that reflects the cool, crystalline terroir and the cooler vintage perfectly. The finish is mouthwatering, salty and reveals stimulating grip. The aftertaste suggests the white peach motive again. Bottled and tasted in September 2017."
