The Wine Advocate:

The 2016 Raya La Barajuela is a special wine from the last trie when they harvested grapes from their El Corregidor vineyard in Pago Carrascal. This has 16% alcohol and high volatility that makes it very fresh and lifts the wine up, cleanses the palate and goes very well with food. It's a bit funky with cheese aromas, peach skin, varnish and nuts... This is less ripe than the 2015; it's fresher and it doesn't have the finesse of the Cortado. I found this more defined than the 2015 I had tasted previously. There were 900 half bottles produced, and the price listed here is for a half bottle.
