L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

Ripe-blueberry, spiced-cherry, violet, mocha and sweet-tobacco aromas. Hint of toffee, too. It’s medium-to full-bodied with firm, polished tannins. Smooth and rich with a concentrated, ripe core of spiced fruit. Long and enticing. Drink from 2022.

The Wine Advocate:

The generously oaked 2018 Vértigo is a blend of 70% Malbec, 20% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Franc from Vistaflores in the Valle de Uco. It fermented in 225-liter French oak casks and matured in barriques, 30% of them new, for 18 months. The wine has a commercial profile: ripe and oaky, smoky and spicy and with abundant oak-related flavors. But there is an extra touch of freshness in the 2018. For fans of oaky reds. 4,000 bottles were filled in May 2020.
