L'avis des experts

Tim Atkin:

More "classic" than the village-focused wines in the Legaris portfolio, although Jorge Bombín says that the latter have taught him a lot about the region and helped him to make a better Reserva, this is a serious, structured red from a number of parcels in Burgos between 850 and 1,000 metres. Aged in one third new oak, it's grippy and compact with firmish tannins, rich, figgy fruit and the concentration to age. 2023-29.

Decanter:

From 40-year-old Tinta Fina (Tempranillo) grapes grown at 850m, spending 18 months in French oak before release. A full-bodied, juicy red with aromas of spicy black berries and black cherry. The deep-fruited palate is laced with sweet cedary oak, leather and liquorice, alongside ripe tannins. Will continue to develop with time in bottle. Drinking Window 2022-2032.
