Walnuts, dried herbs, leather and black fruit on the nose, alongside cedar undertones. It’s toasty and dark-fruited on the palate, with a full body and sturdy, well-integrated tannins. A big wine with excellent length and composure. Drink or hold. - Claire Nesbitt, Staff Writer & Critic.
Beeswax and incense on the nose, with notes of tangerine and ginger. Silky and enticing palate, sleek and glossy.
Three different vineyards in the Rioja Alta villages of Fuenmayor and Navarrete are the source of this assemblage of Tempranillo with 35% Graciano, 10% Mazuelo and 10%
Garnacha. Earthy, savoury and deeply coloured, it has plenty of grip and colour, mochaperfumed French oak, fine tannins and the concentration to age further in bottle. 2025-32.
