Malpaso– unique vin produit intégralement à base de Syrah – provient de vignes conduites en treille, cultivées sur des sols sableux. Il exprime comme aucun autre tout le potentiel du Syrah, avec ses puissants arômes de fruits noirs et sa structure affirmée. Un petit bijou d’œnologie, qui sait rester facile d’approche.

"The 2008 Malpaso is pure Syrah aged in 20% new and 80% old French oak, 30% without de-stemming. It has a lovely, intriguing bouquet of blackberry, fresh rose petals and minerals that is both sophisticated and appealing. The palate is well-balanced with succulent ripe blackberry and briary on the entry. There is a core of sweetness here, but it is counterbalanced by the crisp acidity and the stem addition lending it leafiness towards the controlled, refined, but flavor-packed finish. This is another superb wine from this producer. Drink now-2016."
