L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

Really delicious already with plums and dark berries, as well as crushed stone and some fresh herbs. It's medium-bodied with round tannins. Very drinkable 2022. Drink or hold.

Jeb Dunnuck :

The 2022 Clos Marsalette is a beauty, with a round, soft, sexy style that still stays elegant and pretty. Red and black fruits, ripe tobacco, and leafy herbs define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with quality tannins. This total charmer will drink well right out of the gate.

Decanter:

Open and expressive on the nose, brightly fruited and concentrated. Supple and quite intensely fruited, blueberry, red cherry and raspberry, clean and crisp, a lovely sharpness balanced by quite intense minerality on the tongue, some crushed stones, graphite and tobacco. Nicely mineral while still being juicy and accessible. On the slightly lean side, almost austere but stays the right side, with excellent brightness and sense of joy with lots of red fruits. Yield: 34hl/ha. 30% new oak barrels.
