The Wine Advocate:

Showing quite young and classical, with more influence from the élevage, the 2009 Aponte Reserva showed some balsamic aromas and a mixture of aromatic herbs and wild berries with an earthy, peat-like note. The palate was polished, with fine-grained tannins and good balance. 40,000 bottles.
